The museum acquired the porcelain on 17 June 1919 as a donation from Mr. Netolický.

Although produced from coarse porcelain full of imperfections, it has been exquisitely decorated by an excellent painter. The subjects of the painting, “Eagle abducting Ganymede / Goddess Hebe on the throne“, were created based on copper engravings by J. G. Pfautz published in Augsburg in 1803. It is interesting that the painter used the same models as Josef Müller did in Slavkov and Kysibl.
